How do I start a Jam?
Allow singers to add songs to the queue
You can now start a Jam from the current song queue, to allow other singers to add songs from their own device.
This is ideal for sharing with friends at home, or in a venue.
Start by adding at least one song to the queue from a song page.
You can add a song to the queue by clicking the three dots menu on a song page, and clicking 'Add to queue'
You can view the queue at any time by clicking the queue icon at the top right of the page.
While viewing the queue, click the orange 'Start a jam from queue' button, to start a jam.
This will show a QR code that can be scanned by your friends on a mobile device. Alternatively you can copy the url and send it to them.
After scanning the QR your friends will be able to add their name so they can be identified as the singer for the song in the jam queue.
After entering a name and clicking 'continue', they will be able to search and add songs to the Jam queue.
After they click an 'Add to Jam' button, the song will be instantly added to the hosts Jam queue. The host can re-order and delete songs from the jam queue as required. After a song has played it will drop off the queue.
If auto play is selected at the top of the jam queue, the next song in the queue will play automatically.
